Green Card Strategies and New Opportunities for Foreign Entrepreneurs

In his presentation, Jeff Goldman, an Immigration Lawyer from Boston, discussed how the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services has announced that the H-1B nonimmigrant and National Interest Waiver immigrant visa categories will now be more friendly to foreign national entrepreneurs who are creating jobs in the US. This interactive workshop helped to clarify the viability of this new initiative; offered foreign national entrepreneurs a road-map which may make all the difference when filing immigration petitions; and helped start-up companies understand where they are heading when they have key personnel who have immigration considerations
