Interoute is an international telecommunications service provider and the owner operator of Europe's largest cloud services platform. The owner operator of Europe’s largest fibre network, is offering a free cloud services platform to startups worth up to 1,200 euros ($1,630) over a year. The offering will help startups across Europe build a virtual cloud communications platform at their fledgling organisations, allowing them to use unrestricted access or bandwidth in developing their applications and services.
The operator’s free Jump StartUp package gives startups and developers access to a flexible, on-demand cloud hosting service via the Interoute Virtual Data Centre (VDC). Startups will have access to a scalable cloud data storage platform as part of the one-year deal.
The Interoute Jump StartUp programme is supported by two network points in Paris and Berlin that can serve the whole of Europe by supporting free inbound and outbound data transfers and live online support. The offer includes two virtual CPUs, 2 Gigabytes RAM and 60 Gigabytes of storage. Users can quickly and easily upgrade to Interoute’s full Virtual Data Centre offering and pay-as-you-grow pricing model if they want more, said Interoute.
